The Santa Barbara Blues Society will present the award-winning Los Angeles band the Delgado Brothers on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2024 at the Carrillo Recreation Center, 100 E. Carrillo St. in downtown Santa Barbara.

One of the most popular blues bands on the West Coast and renowned nationally, the band won the Blues Foundation’s International Blues Challenge in 2016, besting over 150 international blues bands. At the same event guitarist Joey Delgado won the Albert King Award as Best Guitarist.

At their last show for the SBBS in March 2017, the dance floor was full and the crowd ecstatic. Opening act for this show will be Ventura County’s nationally known guitarist Shawn Jones delivering an acoustic set.

Doors will open at 7:00 PM; Jones will play from 7:15 to 7:45, followed by two sets by the Delgado Brothers. The venue has an outdoor patio and a large, spring-loaded dance floor; beverages will be available.

Advance tickets will be available until midnight on Sept. 20 at www.SBBlues.org; advance ticket purchasers will be allowed early entry into the show. Tickets will also be obtainable at the door of the show.
